Job summary

Endeavor Health partners with Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights to offer a Registered Nurse position in the Intermediate Care Unit during night shifts.

The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with hours 7:00pm–7:30am and every other weekend.

You will assess patients, coordinate plans of care, teach patients and families, participate in quality improvement, and maintain Illinois licensure and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly with patients and colleagues, in person and in writing.
• Educates patients and families based on assessment needs.
• Participates in evaluating nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains knowledge of current nursing standards, laws, and regulations.
