Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit on the night shift at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, with 7:00pm–7:30am shifts and alternating weekends.

You will assess patients, coordinate plans of care, educate families, and participate in quality initiatives to ensure safe, effective care. The role requires an Associate's degree or BSN, Illinois RN licensure, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
• Coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are consistent, safe, timely and appropriate.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with all customers, in person, on the phone and in writing.
• Individually teaches patients and families based on thorough assessment to meet learning needs.
• Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice via quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
