Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit on night shifts in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role (36 hours/week) works 7:00 PM–7:30 AM, with every other weekend.

You will assess patients, coordinate care, educate families, and contribute to quality improvement while maintaining up-to-date nursing practice standards. Required are an Associate's degree or BSN, Illinois RN licensure, and AHA CPR certification.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing is required.
Current licensure to practice nursing in Illinois.
Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
Communicates clearly and effectively with patients, families and healthcare teams.
Individualizes patient and family teaching based on assessment to meet learning needs.
Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives.
Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
