Job summary

PAM Health in Texas is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our inpatient team. The RN will deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process under Nursing leadership. This role supports discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization in a busy unit.

Requirements include an active RN license, current BLS, and ACLS within 90 days. Inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred. PAM Health offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Holds RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides, or a compact license.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the unit.
• Plans, coordinates, and provides patient care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• May perform other related duties, including Charge Nurse responsibilities (ACLS certification required).
