Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Victoria North in Victoria, TX is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver and supervise patient care on the medical‑surgical unit under the Chief Nursing Officer and Nurse Manager. The RN plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including discharge planning and family teaching for post‑hospitalization, with ACLS eligibility for Charge Nurses.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS certification within 90 days.
• ACLS required for Charge Nurses; BLS and ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.
• One year inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process and supervise care on the unit.
• Plan and coordinate patient care, discharge planning, and family teaching.
• Participate in interdisciplinary planning and use community resources.
• Charge Nurse duties may apply with ACLS.
