Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Clear Lake South in Webster, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and supervise patient care. The RN will participate in interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient/family teaching for post-hospital care, with potential Charge Nurse duties for ACLS-certified staff.

Minimum requirements include an active RN license (Texas or compact), current BLS, and ACLS within 90 days of employment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current RN license in the state of Texas or a participating compact license.
• Current BLS certification is required; ACLS certification within 90 days of employment is required.
• ACLS certification must be maintained for Charge Nurses; BLS/ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide care including discharge planning and family teaching.
• Possibly perform Charge Nurse duties with ACLS certification.
