Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Round Rock in Round Rock, TX is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the nursing unit. You will plan, coordinate, and provide care including discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and coordinating with community resources.

ACLS is required for Charge Nurses and BLS is required on hire. One year of inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Holds a current RN license in the state (or compact license).
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization and access community resources.
