Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Clear Lake North is hiring a Registered Nurse to join our inpatient medical-surgical unit. Under the direction of nursing leadership, you will deliver, direct and supervise patient care, coordinate interdisciplinary planning, and support discharge planning and family teaching.

Requirements include an active RN license in Texas, current BLS, and ACLS certification (ACLS preferred now and required after 90 days; day-one ACLS for certain roles).

Qualifications

RN License in the state you are applying.
Current BLS certification.
ACLS certification preferred initially and required after 90 days.
ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High Obs, ICU.
One year of inpatient med-surgical nursing preferred but not required.
Prior ED/CCU experience and ventilator/tracheostomy/PICC familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver, direct and supervise care to patients on the unit.
Coordinate interdisciplinary planning including discharge planning and teaching.
Assist with post-hospitalization planning and family education.
