Job summary

PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for one of its Texas facilities. The RN will deliver and supervise patient care using the nursing process, coordinate care, discharge planning, and educate patients and families post-hospitalization.

Requirements include active RN licensure in the state, BLS (ACLS within 90 days), and ACLS for Charge Nurse duties. Inpatient med-surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS certification within 90 days.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days; Charge Nurses require ACLS.
• One year inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning.
• Provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification required.
