Job summary

Strong clinical judgment and a commitment to evidence-based practice are essential. Minimum qualifications include Florida RN license; BSN preferred at hire, with BSN within 3 years if not already held.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Florida
• BSN preferred at time of hire
• RNs hired without a BSN must obtain a BSN within 3 years of hire
• Professional nursing board certification preferred at hire; required within 2 years of hire

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health status, identifying actual and potential health concerns
• Develop and implement individualized care plans using evidence-based practices
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans to optimize outcomes
• Engage patients and families as active participants in care planning and delivery
• Coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality
• Delegate and supervise care provided by LPNs and UAP
• Promote a positive unit culture and contribute to a collaborative work environment
• Uphold standards of patient advocacy, safety, and clinical excellence
