Job summary

FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Inc. is seeking a Nurse Informatics Specialist to align clinical operations with technology.

You will analyze departmental needs, prioritize change requests, and support system selection, implementation, and evaluation of the Clinical Informatics System. You will translate clinical data into actionable insights, develop metrics and reports, and liaise with teams to improve end-user satisfaction and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in North Carolina.
• BSN degree required; MSN in informatics or related field preferred.
• Certification in organizational EMR applications or equivalent informatics certification preferred or obtained within 1 year of hire.
• Minimum 3 years of healthcare clinical experience and clinical informatics or application support.
• Leadership or professional development training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in review and prioritization of change requests and system analysis of departmental needs.
• Acts as liaison between work teams and departments to ensure alignment.
• Supports development of metrics, reports, and evaluation of informatics initiatives.
• Leads or participates in workflow analyses to optimize end-user satisfaction.
