Baptist Health’s Ambulatory IT team seeks an RN Clinical Informatics Specialist to partner with leadership to optimize clinical workflows and IT-enabled processes at the Baptist Health Resource Center. You will train physician staff, residents, locums, and midlevel providers, and provide ongoing education for super-users.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year clinical nursing experience required.
• Experience as a clinical IT subject matter expert or super-user preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for clinical applications and IT-enabled clinical workflows.
• Coordinate and facilitate workflow and process improvements in relation to IT systems.
• Provide initial training to new physician medical staff, residents, locums and midlevel providers, and ongoing education for physician staff and super-users.
• Resolve problems quickly and efficiently in collaboration with IT clinical analysts while using the change management process.
• Assist IT with implementations and system upgrades of inpatient clinical applications.
