American Senior Communities is seeking a Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Preventionist at Stonebrook Rehab Center in New Castle, IN. This full-time, on-site role focuses on protecting residents and staff through education, training, and compliance activities.

The SDC/IP will assess staff education needs, develop programs, and lead competencies and quality audits under the Director of Nursing Services.

Formación

• RN license or higher required or able to obtain RN licensure in Indiana.
• Certificate or training in infection prevention preferred.
• The role involves education, training, and compliance activities.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate education and training for staff to meet infection prevention guidelines.
• Conduct skills competencies, education sessions, and clinical observations.
• Support hiring processes for new staff as directed by Nursing Services.
• Monitor data on infections, immunizations, and antibiotic use and report trends.
• Promote employee recognition and growth opportunities within the facility.
