Job summary

HCA Florida Twin Cities Hospital in Niceville, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse to support operating room and perioperative care. You will evaluate patients preoperatively, educate families, and manage IV therapy, preoperative medications, and site verification.

• RN with ACLS and BLS required (within 30 days of start)
• Bachelor's or Associate degree required
• No travel required
• No prior experience required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery
• Educate patients and families about procedures and perioperative care
• Prepare patients including IV therapy, preop meds, and site verification
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols
• Monitor for emergencies and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
• Collaborate with providers, surgeons, techs and the care team
• Apply nursing process with clinical judgment and leadership
• Document patient condition and care provided accurately
• Educate patients on treatment and follow-up measures
