Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of School of Nursing.
• Current Louisiana RN license or compact state license.
• BLS-CPR Certified.
• Ability to read, write and speak intelligible English; communicate effectively.
• Emotional stability, resilience; adaptable to change and decisive.
• Able to learn quickly and problem-solve with delegated responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Uses technology and computers in patient care.
• Demonstrates competency with Smart Pumps.
• Administers medications and follows physician orders.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team from admit to discharge.
• Performs initial assessments and documents appropriately.
• Educates patients and families and records outcomes.
• Adheres to unit policies and PI plans.
