Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Group is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care in alignment with facility policies and patient-centered care principles. You will lead clinical teams and support the healthcare staff while upholding service excellence.

The role emphasizes creating comprehensive care plans, discharge planning, and collaboration with family and caregivers to address educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate. NRP, STABLE within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS (or obtained within six months of employment).
• Fetal Monitoring within 6 months of hire.

• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill.

Responsibilities

Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. The concepts of Patient Centered Care will provide the foundation for all nursing care. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.

Job Duties

• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill. Integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients. Develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
• Collaborates with the patient's designated care partner to meet the educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of the patient.
