Job summary

Desert View Hospital, a rural 25-bed acute care facility, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide safe, patient-centered care and lead the healthcare team. The role emphasizes service excellence and adherence to facility policies and philosophy, with supervision responsibilities as needed.

Qualified candidates offer 1–2 years of acute care experience or completion of a specialty course, Nevada RN license, and current BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP may be required by the unit.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN preferred or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-2 years acute care experience or completion of approved specialty course.
• License/Certification: Nevada RN license, current BLS. ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications may be required by facility.
• Must demonstrate knowledge to provide care appropriate to age of patients served.

Job Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent. BSN preferred.
• Experience: 1 - 2 year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course.
• License/Certification: Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients). Other certification as may be required by facility, speciality or department.
• Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
