Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. is seeking an RN to provide safe, competent nursing care to patients in accordance with facility policies and philosophy.

You will offer professional leadership to the healthcare team and uphold Patient Centered Care standards across services. The role requires an NLN-approved RN program graduate with a current Nevada nursing license and BLS; ACLS/NRP/STABLE within 6 months are expected, with inpatient acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current Nevada nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate. NRP, STABLE within 6 months of hire.
• ACLS (or obtained within six months of employment).
• Fetal Monitoring within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Constructs and implements the plan of care using nursing knowledge and skill; integrates direct and indirect patient care activities related to the diagnosis and co-morbidities.
• Coordinates the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care for assigned patients; develops goals, treatment plans, and discharge plans that meet individual patient/family needs.
• Collaborates with the patient's designated care partner to meet the educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of the patient.
