Job summary

Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) in Delaware seeks a Registered Nurse III - Compliance Nursing to oversee NATCEP compliance in LTC facilities and schools. The role ensures curricula, faculty and operations meet state and Federal regulations, and conducts surveys and data analysis for quality assurance.

The incumbent assists in processing CNA recertifications and maintains the Nurse Aide Registry across the state."

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nursing with at least one year of RN experience.
• Delaware Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides or evaluates direct nursing care.
• Develops, implements and/or reviews nursing care plans.
• Provides health care instruction and guidance to individuals, families, community groups and/or nursing home facilities.
• Maintains an effective working relationship with other members of the treatment team.
• Prepares and submits records, reports, evaluations and forms.
• Participates in and makes recommendations regarding quality assurance activities.
