Job summary
Washington Soldiers Home is seeking a Registered Nurse 2 for full-time evening shifts. You will provide skilled nursing, medication administration, and thorough documentation while guiding NAC staff. Strong English communication and a WA RN license are required.
The role emphasizes resident-centered care in a historic facility with alignment to state HR compensation rules. You will work Tue-Sat 2:00 PM–10:30 PM with on-site duties and opportunities to contribute to care planning and staff
Qualifications
- This role requires an active Washington RN license and graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- English reading/writing/speaking is essential for safe resident care.
- Experience or ability to lead NAC staff and participate in care plans.
Responsibilities
- Deliver skilled nursing and nursing-related care to veteran residents.
- Administer medications and monitor residents who require assistance.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and care records.
- Collaborate on care planning and quarterly assessments.
- Provide leadership and guidance to NAC staff on unit.
- Perform routine nursing assessments and ensure safety compliance.
- Develop discharge planning and communicate with care teams.
