Universal Health Services in Texas seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to lead nursing care for patients under medical or surgical services. The RN will assess, plan, guide, and evaluate care, ensuring safety and adherence to facility standards while providing professional leadership to the healthcare team.

Responsibilities include coordinating with hospital staff and disciplines, addressing patient care concerns, and participating in on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in Texas or with a compact state license; temporary Texas license acceptable until permanent license.
• BSN preferred; documentation of nursing program completion as applicable.
• Must hold and maintain BLS certification; ensure required ARC/AHA Provider certifications are current.
• Commitment to compliance with policy, code of conduct, and required training.

Responsabilités

• Manage patients admitted or seen for medical conditions or surgical procedures.
• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Assess, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care for patients.
• Oversee nursing staff under supervision and coordinate with hospital/ancillary departments.
• Interact with staff regarding patient care concerns and resolutions.
• Occasionally work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, and/or on-call.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence in all interactions.
