Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse to lead nursing care for patients admitted for medical conditions or surgical procedures in our Texas facilities.

The RN will assess, plan, guide, and evaluate care, provide professional leadership to the healthcare team, and ensure safe, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital policies and standards. Weekend/evening shifts and on-call duties may be required.

Qualifications

• State of Texas RN license or compact license.
• BSN preferred.
• Must maintain BLS and unit-specific certifications.
• Commitment to Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per policies.
• Lead and supervise nursing staff.
• Interact with hospital staff to resolve patient concerns.
• Occasional weekend/holiday/on-call work.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence.

Education

Texas RN license

BSN preferred

Associate/Baccalaureate/Diploma in Nursing

BLS certification

ACLS certification

PALS/ENPC certification

NRP certification

TNCC certification

CPI certification
