Job summary

Qualifications

• Twelve months registered nurse experience in a healthcare environment.
• Texas RN license (PSV compact) in place or must obtain permanent Texas license within 60 days if establishing residency.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Preferred Magnet ANCC certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments, assist with exams and treatments, educate patients, and maintain medical records.
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians and the interprofessional health care team to coordinate compassionate, effective care and outcomes.
• Participate in or lead unit/shared governance initiatives; may serve as charge nurse, preceptor, or contribute to service line initiatives.
