Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a Medical Oncology Infusion Nurse to join the nursing team.

The role involves infusion of chemotherapy/biotherapy, patient monitoring, and collaboration with the oncology team. Requirements include DC RN licensure, BSN or higher, and 6 months of RN experience; Oncology experience and OCN are preferred; BLS required.

Competenze

• RN licensure in the District of Columbia is required.
• BSN or Bachelor degree with second degree in Nursing is required.
• 6 months of RN experience or more; Oncology preferred.
• OCN certification preferred and must be obtained within 9 months of hire.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy course through ONS completed or to be completed within 3 months of hire.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support.

Position Details

• Medical Oncology/Infusion Center- 37 chairs
• Full time, 30 hours/week, benefitted
• 10 hour day shift M-F (flex start times) Early 6:30a- 5p Late 8:30a-7p

Minimum Education And Experience

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Bachelor degree with second degree in Nursing.
• 6 months of RN experience or more
• Oncology preferred
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred. Must be OCN within 9 months of hire date.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy course through ONS with successful completion or must be successfully completed within 3 months of hire date.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support

Salary Range: Minimum 43.25/hour - Maximum 67.04/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
