Johns Hopkins Medicine is hiring a full-time Medical Oncology Infusion Nurse for the Sibley Nursing Team in Washington, DC. The role features a 40-hour workweek with 10-hour day shifts (Mon-Fri) and flexible start times.

The infusion center operates 37 chairs and provides comprehensive cancer care with strong emphasis on patient-centered nursing care. Ideal candidates hold a DC RN license, a BSN, and oncology/infusion experience, with a preference for OCN certification and

• DC RN licensure is required.
• BSN degree required.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience.
• Oncology/Infusion experience preferred.
• Charge Nurse experience preferred.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred; must be obtained within 9 months of hire.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy course through ONS required or completed within 3 months of hire.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.

Position Details

• Medical Oncology/Infusion Center- 37 chairs
• Full time, 40 hours/week, benefitted
• 10 hour day shift M-F (flex start times) Early 6:30a- 5p Late 8:30a-7p

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Bachelor
• 6 months of RN experience or more
• Oncology/Infusion experince preferred
• Charge Nurse experince preferred
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred. Must be OCN within 9 months of hire date.
• Chemotherapy/Biotherapy course through ONS with successful completion or must be successfully completed within 3 months of hire date.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support

Salary Range:

Minimum 47.57/hour - Maximum 73.73/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
