Job summary

Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a Radiation Oncology RN for per-diem, day-shift work in the Johns Hopkins Medicine oncology program. You will provide direct patient care to oncology patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation therapy, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Minimum qualifications include a DC RN license, graduation from an accredited RN program, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of professional nursing care principles for oncology patients.
• Knowledge of chemotherapy drugs and their interaction with radiation treatment.
• At least 6 months RN experience in Radiation Oncology; 1+ year preferred.

• AHA CPR Certification required.

Position Details

• Pediatric Radiation Oncology Therapy RN
• Per-Diem, Hours vary per week, must work a minimum of 3 shifts over 6 weeks
• 10-hour Dayshifts

Minimum Education And Experience

• Registered Nurse licensed in the District of Columbia.
• Graduate from an accredited program for Registered Nurses.
• Knowledge of professional nursing care principles, practices, and procedures required to assess oncology patients.
• Must possess knowledge of chemotherapy drugs and their interaction with radiation treatment.
• At least 6 months RN experience in Radiation Oncology, 1+ year experience preferred
• ONS/ONCC Radiation Therapy Certification preferred.
• AHA CPR Certification required.

Salary Range: Minimum 57.90/hour - Maximum 57.90/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
