Job summary

Spokane Veterans Home in Spokane, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse 2 for a full-time swing shift position. You will deliver skilled nursing care to Veterans and supervise care on the unit. This role requires a WA RN license and at least 1 year of nursing experience; long-term care experience is a plus.

The work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, with no telework option. The State of Washington offers comprehensive health benefits, retirement, and leave.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid RN license from the State of Washington.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience.
• Experience in nursing documentation and record keeping is required.
• Strong communication and collaboration with staff to ensure resident care.

Responsibilities

• Maintain healthcare records according to current policies and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments for residents.
• Monitor and support daily living activities for residents.
• Provide open communication with staff and residents to ensure quality care.
• Assist in training staff and performing nursing assessments as needed.
