US DEPT. OF VETERANS AFFAIRS — Spokane Veterans Home is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Spokane, WA location. The role is full-time, permanent, with a swing shift (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm) and Saturday/Sunday rotation.
A longevity step and facility premium may apply, with non-telework requirements and daily on-site duties. The candidate will serve as charge nurse, provide direct patient care, document MDS, and assist residents with mobility and safety.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid LPN license from Washington state.
- Minimum of two years’ LPN experience.
- Proficient in reading/writing/speaking English; able to perform data entry.
Responsibilities
- Charge nurse for the assigned area.
- May act as back-up supervisor in the absence of RN.
- Update and maintain MDS documentation.
