Job summary

Jobot is seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Critical Care Unit / Medical/Surgical team in Minnesota. This full-time, permanent role offers a fast-paced, rewarding environment and emphasizes high-quality patient care, with a focus on patient assessment, care planning, and EMR-based documentation.

The successful candidate will have 2+ years in Medical-Surgical or Critical Care, an active RN license, CPR/BLS, and a commitment to advocacy.

Qualifications

• Holds a current and unencumbered RN license.
• Has a minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing, Critical Care, or a related field.
• Possesses strong skills in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical documentation.
• Has experience with IV Therapy, Patient Education, Interdisciplinary Collaboration, and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Holds a current CPR/BLS certification.
• Demonstrates excellent time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Has experience in emergency response and care coordination.
• Has a strong commitment to patient advocacy and delivering high-quality patient care.
• Med-Surg certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality patient care within ICCU/Medical-Surgical department, adhering to standards and procedures.
• Conducting thorough patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
• Administering IV therapy and managing clinical documentation using EMR.
• Educating patients and their families on disease processes and therapeutic regimens, including medication and pain management.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and services for patients.
• Responding promptly to emergency situations and implementing appropriate interventions.
• Advocating for patients’ rights and ensuring care aligns with patient needs and preferences.
• Utilizing strong time management to balance needs of diverse patient population and high-volume workload.
