Job summary

Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical ICU team in a casual status, night shift, serving medically complex patients in a Level I Trauma Center.

As an MICU RN, you will provide patient-centered care, collaborate with the care team, and contribute to evidence-based practice through our Shared Governance Model. BSN or ADN with 1 year RN experience and MN RN license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing with 1 year of RN experience
• Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota
• CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers
• Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work with patients from diverse backgrounds

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered, safe, effective, timely and equitable care in the MICU
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team
• Participate as an active unit and nursing department member
• Maintain effective working relationships with other healthcare team members across the organization
