Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced IMC MedSurgical RN to provide comprehensive nursing care in a MedSurgical unit. You will educate patients and families, manage IV therapy, document care in the EHR, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

ACLS and BLS are required; candidates should have at least 2 years of MedSurgical RN experience, strong communication, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Join our patient-focused inpatient care team.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a MedSurgical setting.
• Current and valid RN license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Proficiency in patient and family education, IV therapy, nursing process, clinical documentation (EHR), delegation & team collaboration, cultural & psychosocial support, and monitoring for treatment response/side effects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Commitment to providing the highest level of patient care and improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to a diverse patient population in a MedSurgical setting.
• Educating patients and families about health conditions and treatments.
• Administering IV therapy and monitoring patients for treatment response and side effects.
• Utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Accurately documenting patient information and clinical data in electronic health records (EHR).
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality, coordinated care.
• Providing cultural and psychosocial support to patients and their families.
• Participating in continuous professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
