Baptist Health Floyd seeks a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit in New Albany, IN. This full-time role offers 36 hours weekly on day shifts from 7am to 7pm, with benefit eligibility and a sign-on bonus for experienced external candidates.

The ICU team provides direct, comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge, collaborating with families and co-workers to ensure high-quality patient outcomes. New graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• ACLS Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
• NIHSS Stroke Certification required (Obtained within 10 weeks of hire).

Job Duties:

In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

About the Unit:

The Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed adult medical ICU providing specialized care for a variety of critically ill patients, including those with: stroke; sepsis; shock states with or without multi-organ failure; and respiratory failure. New graduate RNs are welcome.

Qualifications:

Current Indiana or compact state RN license.

BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
