Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking an experienced RN for the Intensive Care Unit WOW program. This part-time night role (7pm-7am) includes weekend WOW shifts with premium pay and benefits eligibility.

The RN will deliver direct nursing care from admission to discharge and collaborate with the care team and families to meet patient needs. Indiana license, BLS/ACLS, and NIHSS are required or obtained within defined timelines.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• ACLS certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
• NIHSS Stroke Certification required (Obtained within 10 weeks of hire).

Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

Job Duties:

In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

About the Unit:

The Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed adult medical ICU providing specialized care for a variety of critically ill patients, including those with: stroke; sepsis; shock states with or without multi-organ failure; and respiratory failure. New graduate RNs are welcome.
