Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join the ICU WOW team for weekend night shifts (7pm–7am).

The ideal candidate will provide direct, compassionate nursing care from admission to discharge, work on-site with WOW weekend premium pay, and hold Indiana RN licensure with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS requirements. Sign-on bonus eligible for experienced external candidates.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Indiana or compact state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• ACLS certification required (within 12 months of hire).
• NIHSS Stroke Certification required (within 10 weeks of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.
• Function as an on-shift team member delivering patient care to patients, families, and co-workers.

Job Duties:

In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.

About the Unit:

The Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed adult medical ICU providing specialized care for a variety of critically ill patients, including those with: stroke; sepsis; shock states with or without multi-organ failure; and respiratory failure. New graduate RNs are welcome.

Work every weekend and receive PREMIUM PAY for WOW shifts
