Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an RN for ICU/CCU travel assignment in Iowa. Shift is 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, with an estimated 36-hour work week. The assignment lasts 13 weeks and requires an active RN license and standard certifications.

Responsibilities include delivering high-quality nursing care to adult cardiac/telemetry patients and coordinating care with the health team. On-call may occur during low census periods, and on-site arrival is expected within one hour if called in.

Qualifications

• RN with ICU/CCU experience preferred.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Must have RN license.

• EPIC EMR experience within the last 12 months in a like unit
• Basic Dysrhythmia test to be passed in the first week of assignment

Description:The traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance.A basic dysrhythmia test will be administered during the first week of the assignment.This test must be passed in order to work in the ICU.The role involves delivering care to patients using the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation.Care will be coordinated with other health team members.The RN will interact effectively with patients and significant others while maintaining high professional nursing standards.High-quality care will be provided to adult cardiac/telemetry, stroke, vascular intervention, and hemodynamic monitoring patient populations.The estimated work week is 36 hours.Every other weekend and holiday rotation is required.While the traveler will not be part of a regular call rotation, they may occasionally be placed on call during low census periods.If called in, the traveler is expected to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.
