Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU travel assignment in Georgia. You will care for adults in a 24-bed ICU, manage ventilated patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements include 2+ years ICU experience, GA or Compact RN license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and ability to handle high-acuity cases such as ARDS, sepsis, stroke. Position may require floating and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience.
• GA or Compact RN license required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required prior to start.
• Experience managing ventilated patients and central line care.
• Competence in acute stroke management; CVVHD/CRRT preferred.
• Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias; post-cardiac and post-neurosurgery care valued.
• Suctioning skills (ETT/NTT) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Care for ICU patients with high-acuity conditions in a 24-bed unit.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and ventilator parameters; respond to changes.
• Collaborate with respiratory, physical therapy and social services teams.
• Float within the facility as needed and comply with onboarding requirements.
• Weekend coverage every other weekend and holiday work as required.

Description:This position requires a registered nurse for an intensive care unit.The average daily census in the unit is 19 patients.Patient populations will range from adults to geriatrics.General diagnoses include ARDS, sepsis, stroke, STEMI, DKA, and post-operative complications.The nurse may be required to manage a patient ratio of 1:2-3.The facility features 24 rooms with a variety of equipment including cardiac monitoring.Interdisciplinary support is available through various specialties such as respiratory services, physical therapy, and social services.Weekend work is required every other weekend unless specified otherwise.Traveling nurses must be prepared to float within the facility as required.If a major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work.Compliance with onboarding requirements is essential for timely start.All requests for time off must be finalized at the time of submission.No time-off requests can be made after the offer is accepted or during orientation week.
