Description:This position focuses on cardiovascular intensive care nursing.Candidates will provide care to patients aged 16 years and older with primary cardiac diagnoses.Common patient conditions include heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, and post-cardiac surgery.Nurses will manage a variety of specialized cardiac procedures.Experience with complex cardiovascular care is strongly preferred.The unit is blended, comprising both intensive care and intermediate care beds.Staffing is supported by a multidisciplinary team including physical therapy and respiratory services.Nurses will participate in providing evidence-based care to meet diverse patient needs.Advanced training will be provided to enhance nursing skills in cardiovascular care.All nursing staff are encouraged to pursue advanced certifications to promote professional growth.This position requires floating between units as necessary.
