Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for ICU/ICU-critical care coverage in a 13-week assignment. The role involves caring for patients in intermediate and intensive care, with 4:1 patient ratio and weekend requirements.

You will work nights and days on a rotating 3x12 schedule, requiring state licensure and various certifications. Eligible candidates excel in telemetry, vent care, and rapid bedside assessments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required, travel assignment preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications required.
• Must pass ECG rhythm interpretation exam with 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms.
• Proficient in vent management, IVs, central lines, and blood product administration.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care in Intermediate Care and ICU units.
• Manage ventilated patients and administer blood products.
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapy, Respiratory, and Interpretation Services.
• Floated to medical-surgical units as needed.

Description:Seeking an experienced ICU RN for a critical care role.The position requires working in both Intermediate Care and Intensive Care units.Candidates should have ICU experience.Every other weekend work is required with six weekend shifts in a six-week period.Patient ratios are 4 patients to 1 nurse for both day and night shifts.The team is supported by Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, and other essential services.Daily patient census averages around 9 patients with 12 total beds available.Skills required include managing ventilated patients, administering blood products, and managing IVs and central lines.The candidate should also possess skills in cardiac telemetry and interpreting dysrhythmias.Must be proficient in using specific medical equipment and protocols.Interdisciplinary collaboration is a key component of patient care in this role.This position involves a variety of patient diagnoses including cardiac, neuro, and respiratory conditions.Travelers will also be floated to medical-surgical units as needed.
