Job summary

Avita Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the ICU team at Avita Galion Hospital in Galion, OH. This regular part-time role focuses on assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care across shifts, with supervision of nursing assistants and support staff.

The ideal candidate will hold Ohio RN licensure, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and ideally ICU experience. Commitment bonuses up to 12,500 are offered to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care of patients within the unit.
• Ensure continuity of care across shifts by supervising nursing assistants, LPNs and staff.
• Participate in patient and family teaching; act as patient advocate.
• Support nursing staff and maintain alignment with the department's mission.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU Department at our Galion location.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Preferred:

• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.
