Job summary

Avita Galion Hospital in Galion, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the ICU team on a part-time basis.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, supervise nursing assistants, and participate in patient and family teaching while upholding the hospital's mission. A commitment bonus of up to $12,500 is offered along with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN licensure is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure continuity of care across shifts and supervise nursing staff.

We’re currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our ICU Department at our Galion location.

Position Overview

Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the nursing care of patients within the nursing unit. Responsible for ensuring continuity of care of the patients between shifts by providing direct care as well as supervising the care given by nursing assistants, LPNs and supportive staff members. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

Required:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.

Preferred:

• Two (2) or more years of previous nursing experience.
• Previous Intensive Care Unit experience.
