Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an ICU RN for a 13-week assignment in Concord, NC. The position requires a 12-hour night shift and 36 hours per shift, with patient types including ventilated and stroke patients in a 457-bed Level 3 Trauma Center.
You will join a 24/7 staffed unit with CNAs and charge nurses on duty, using Epic EMR for charting. Required are a valid RN license and a minimum of 2 years ICU experience, along with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Description:Licensed for 457 beds.Level 3 Trauma Center.Stroke Center of Excellence.Bariatric Center of Excellence.Chest Pain Center.Unit has 40 beds, with an average census around 40.Patient types include ventilated patients, stroke patients, thrombolysis patients, BiPAP patients, overdose patients, and GI bleeds.Patient ratios for RNs are 1:1 to 1:3.Nursing assistance is provided by CNAs, typically at a ratio of 1:10.Charge nurses are present 24/7.Phlebotomy is handled by an RN.Respiratory therapy is available 24/7.Clientist and intensivist support is provided 24/7.Telemetry monitoring is conducted with hardwired monitors and travel tele boxes.EMR system is Epic.Equipment includes IV pumps, medication dispensing systems, and unit-specific tools like Arctic Sun and rapid transfusers.Travel nurses will be the first to float to other nursing units based on patient care needs.Floating is required based on regional needs, with adaptability expected.Travel nurses will be compensated for time spent traveling between facilities if floating occurs mid-shift.Weekend rotation is required every other week.Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays.Requests for time off can be made, with a maximum of 6 days off, excluding holidays.Scrub color is navy.The unit culture emphasizes teamwork on both day and night shifts.
