Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse for ICU at a partner facility in Harvey, IL. This 13-week assignment requires night shifts, with 12-hour shifts and a 1:2 patient ratio (1:3 when needed).

The ideal candidate will hold a valid RN license with BLS and ACLS, have ICU experience (neuro/cardiac preferred), and experience with Epic charting. Expect unit floats and teamwork in a high-acuity environment; weekend shifts every other weekend.

Description:This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit.The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients.The nurse will manage patient care under a 1:2 patient ratio, occasionally 1:3 when needed.Experience in handling patients with neurological and cardiac conditions is preferred.Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs.The facility utilizes Epic for charting.A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team are essential for this role.The ICU team includes interdisciplinary support such as respiratory services and pharmacy.Nurses will care for patients requiring various special procedures and equipment.Candidates should possess skills in the management of central lines and arterial lines.Additional skills in monitoring pulmonary artery lines and titrating cardiac drips are advantageous.Weekend shifts will be required every other weekend.Extra shifts may be available and welcomed.
