Cynet HealthStaff seeks an ICU RN for a 26-week assignment in Boise, Idaho. The role requires a minimum of 2 years ICU experience, an active RN license, and certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS). Shift is 12-hour nights with 36 hours per week. Will work in a high-acuity unit with 1:1 and 1:2 nurse-patient ratios.
Must be able to titrate drips and manage critical care equipment. Travel and cross-unit coverage may be required; hospital-level requirements and in-house specialists are available.

Nurse-Patient Ratios: 1:1 and 1:2.Common diagnoses/Types of patients: CABG, CVA, subarachnoid hemorrhage, intracerebral brain hemorrhage, GI bleeds, DKA, STEMI, septic shock, overdose, respiratory failure, neuro surgery, open heart surgeries.Required skills: Must have 2 years of ICU experience.RNs are required to titrate drips.Common titratable and/or set rate drips: Dopamine, Epi, Norepi, cardene, nitro, neo, vasopressin, diltiazem, insulin, esmolol.Charge nurse available on each unit, does not routinely take an assignment.Resource nurse available on each unit.There are nurse aides on this unit with ratios of 1:8.Two CNAs per unit on days, one to one-and-a-half per unit on nights.Clientist or intensivist in house.Respiratory therapy staff available 24/7 with a minimum of two in each ICU.Equipment includes vents, BiPAP, and CPAP.RNs are responsible for reading their own monitor strips.Utilize travel RNs to fill staffing needs.Weekend requirements are every other weekend.Holiday requirements apply if there is a need.Floating to other ICUs may be required.This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles.Unit-specific orientation consists of one to two shifts.
