Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU in Baraboo, Wisconsin. This 13‑week assignment runs night shift with 12‑hour blocks and a typical census of 4 patients across 6 beds. Candidates must hold a current RN license and have at least 2 years of ICU experience.

Description:Registered Nurse needed for the ICU unit.The average daily census is 4 patients.The unit consists of 6 rooms/beds.Clinicians will float within scope to meet facility needs if required.No on-call requirement for the position.The patient diagnoses include CHF, COPD, stroke, DKA, AKI, SBO, detox, sepsis, and respiratory failure.Special procedures include rapid sequence intubation.Special equipment used in the unit includes Spacelabs, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow oxygen.Support staff includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.The position will require skills in managing arterial lines, assisting with chest tube insertion/removal, blood product administration, and caring for ventilated patients.Additional skills include central line care/management, interpretation of arterial blood gases, and managing patients with multi-system organ dysfunction/failure.
