Job summary

HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is seeking a House Supervisor RN on a PRN basis to coordinate and supervise hospital operations and patient care. You will protect privacy, advocate for patients and families, and help manage bed flow to maintain quality care across the facility.

The role requires Florida RN licensure (compact allowed with 60 days for Florida licensure), 3+ years acute care experience, and certifications such as NIH Stroke Scale, BCLS, and ACLS. BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required, compact license candidates have 60 days to obtain Florida licensure.
• 3+ years RN experience in acute care preferred.
• BSN or higher degree preferred.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Job Summary: We are seeking a House Supervisor RN to join our team. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner. You will proactively coordinate and supervise the hospital and patient care services.

What will you will do in this role:

Serve as the patient and family advocate, protecting privacy and confidentiality

Responsible for bed management coordination

Administers plans and evaluates the activities of the hospital to ensure quality patient care

Job Requirements:

Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.

3+ years of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred

Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree,BSN is preferred

NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start

Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start

American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of employment start date

3-5 years’ related experience. Acute care or specialty nursing experience as appropriate

BSN is preferred
