Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking an administrative/clinical support RN to facilitate patient care using the nursing process. You will assist in monitoring quality care and ensure efficient use of resources across the department.

Qualified candidates have a BSN, 3+ years RN experience, and current RN licensure. BLS is required; ACLS/CCRN preferred. Strong computer and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN required for all Ochsner Magnet Facilities.
• 3 years of RN experience required.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS required; ACLS & CCRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a resource to the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care.
• Rounds frequently to identify administrative issues and communicates to the appropriate level.
• Supervises and leads staff effectively.
• Provides care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety and related criteria for patients.
• Adapts communication and care to the patient population and privacy considerations.
• Performs other related duties as required.
