Job summary

Lake Granbury Medical Center is seeking a Supervisor, House - RN to provide leadership during assigned shifts, oversee hospital operations, and ensure delivery of safe, high-quality patient care. The role serves as the administrative point of contact during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

The position requires an Associate Degree or higher in Nursing, with 1–2 years of related experience and 1–2 years of leadership preferable. RN licensure and BLS/ACLS are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Nursing required.
• 1-2 years of related experience in the profession required.
• 1-2 years of previous leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees hospital operations during assigned shifts with staffing coverage.
• Monitors census; coordinates admissions, discharges, and transfers for bed utilization.
• Administrative point of contact during non-business hours; addresses inquiries and resolves issues.
• Responds to emergencies; coordinates resources for safety and quality care.
• Acts as incident commander in disaster situations until relieved by a senior leader.
• Supervises nursing staff with clinical guidance and delegation of duties.
• Ensures compliance with policies and regulatory standards; manages resources efficiently.
