Job summary
Laredo Medical Center in Texas is seeking an RN House Supervisor for night shifts to lead hospital operations and ensure safe, high-quality patient care. You will serve as the administrative point of contact during evenings, weekends, and holidays, coordinating patient flow and staffing.
The role requires RN licensure and 1–2 years of nursing experience with leadership exposure, plus the ability to respond to emergencies, supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a positive work
Qualifications
- RN licensure required (state or compact)
- Associate degree or higher in nursing required
- 1–2 years of nursing experience; 1–2 years of leadership preferred
Responsibilities
- Oversees hospital operations during night shifts with appropriate staffing.
- Monitors census, admissions, discharges, and bed utilization.
- Acts as admin point of contact after hours, resolves inquiries and conflicts.
- Responds to emergencies, coordinates resources and personnel.
- Serves as incident commander in disasters until relieved.
- Supervises nursing staff, provides clinical guidance and delegation.
