Responsibilities

• Leadership capacity serving as liaison between hospital leadership and nursing unit staff.
• Prepare hospital shift reports with staffing and census data; participate in electronic scheduling system implementation.
• Supervise nursing care across the hospital; manage staffing and temporary labor as needed.
• Ensure adherence to policies, standards, and nursing practice; coordinate staffing with census and patient acuity.
• Respond to emergencies (Code Blue, Rapid Response, Code Rush) per policy and advocate for patient and staff safety.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
