Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center is seeking an expert level clinician to support and direct patient care, ensuring safe throughput and optimal resource use. The role acts as a liaison for transfers and placements, guiding caregivers, physicians, and staff during assigned shifts to maintain service excellence.

This leadership position requires Alaska RN licensure on hire, BLS certification, and at least one year of charge nurse or leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Completed Preceptorship training.
• Alaska Registered Nurse License required on hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required on hire.
• 1 year of Charge Nurse or leadership experience and demonstrated leadership abilities.
• Experience with Critical Access Hospital inter-departmental dynamics.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for patient care throughput and safe, efficient care delivery.
• Serve as single point of contact for transfer or placement of patients.
• Direct and supervise caregivers, physicians, and staff during assigned shift.
• Collaborate with Administrator on Call for after-hours issues and operational decisions.
